I am responsible for the processing of your personal data as described below.
Visiting lave-art.com
This website does not use contact forms, newsletters, analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and does not embed content from other platforms.
When you visit the site, my hosting provider TransIP automatically records technical data in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time of your visit. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a safe, working website. These logs are kept for 3 days and are not used to identify or profile you.
The website contains links to my Etsy shop and Instagram. Once you click through, the privacy policy of that platform applies.
Contacting me by email
If you email me, I use your name, email address and the content of your message to reply to you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering your question, or taking steps towards a purchase at your request. I keep these emails as long as needed to handle your question, and no longer than 12 months, unless they relate to an order (see below).
Buying a print via Etsy
Orders, payments and the checkout are handled by Etsy. Etsy is itself responsible for the data you give to Etsy; see the Etsy Privacy Policy.
To fulfil your order, I receive from Etsy your name, shipping address, the details of your order and any messages you send me. I use this data to:
- have your print produced and shipped;
- handle questions, returns and complaints;
- keep my business administration.
The legal basis is the performance of our purchase agreement and, for the administration, my legal obligation to keep financial records.
Who receives your data
Prodigi (Prodigi Group Ltd, United Kingdom) prints and ships your order. Prodigi receives your name, shipping address and order details, and passes your address to the carrier delivering your parcel. Prints for the EU are produced in the Netherlands. The United Kingdom is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.
I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for marketing emails.
How long I keep it
Order data that is part of my financial administration is kept for 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law. Other order-related messages are deleted 12 months after the order is completed.
Security
I take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access, such as secure (HTTPS) connections, and strong passwords.
Automated decision-making
I do not make decisions about you based on automated processing.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Send your request to info@lave-art.com; I will respond within one month.
If you believe I am not handling your data correctly, please let me know. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes
I may update this statement when my way of working changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
